New York Red Bulls vs New York City is a Hudson River Derby

The New York Red Bulls play Major League Soccer and the US Open Cup at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

The team is regularly a strong competitor. The Red Bulls won the 2016 Eastern Conference, but fell to the Montreal Impact in the MLS Cup semi-finals. They were the 2013 and 2015 winners of the regular season Supporters Shield.
