Nigerian Independence Day Parade NYC Celebrates 65 Years of Independence

Nigerian Independence Day Parade NYC (Jackq-Dreamstime)
Nigerian Independence Day Parade NYC (Jackq-Dreamstime)

The Nigerian Independence Day Parade NYC celebrates Nigerian culture and the contributions of Nigerian Americans.

The celebration usually includes a flag raising, parade, cultural festival, and gala. There are Nigerian artists and musicians, home food, arts and crafts, and displays of traditional clothing and adornments. Thinking of jollof rice makes me hungry.
