Peso Pluma & Tito Double P: Dinastía reel

Peso Pluma is a Grammy winner who went global with his Grammy-winning “Génesis” album of corridos tumbados. His biggest hits include: “Ella Baila Sola,” “La Bebe,” and “Lady Gaga.”

His laid-back “whatever” charm helped transform traditional Regional Mexican music into urban Música Mexicana. He is a living expression of tumbado, or street cool. The music is an evolution of Chicano, hip-hop, and Regional Mexican traditions. Its casual nature is very West Coast. It’s like they are too cool to care. I really love the banda brass influences.

Young people like his style which is a Mexican version of Latin street style with luxury brands and all that. People also connect with the fact that a simple guy who is a lot like me can be a respected international star.

Tito Double P is Pluma’s creative partner. They are cousins. Successful Latino artists are often family affairs. It’s part of the Latin family character.

Dinastía” is their 2025 album which, after 2024’s trap-influenced “Éxodo,” is a return to their corridos tumbados roots.
