A Little History

Prudential Center opened in 2007 in a redevelopment of old Newark Chinatown. It has become one of the world’s leading concert venues.

Annual concerts include Alex Sensation’s Mega Bash and Mega Mezcla urban latin concerts.

Several trains run from Pennsylvania Station New York to Penn Station, Newark. The trip takes about 30-45 minutes.

It’s just south of the Ironbound District, a neighborhood known for its excellent Brazilian, Portuguese, and Spanish restaurants. If you drive, park your car somewhere secure.
