Romeo Santos is on his Utopia Tour

Romeo Santos, “the King of Bachata,” is a seductive Dominican – Puerto Rican Bachata superstar singer-songwriter from The Bronx. He is one of the artists most responsible for popularizing Dominican Bachata around the world.

Santos does some acting as well. He appeared in Furious 7 (2015), and is the voice of Early Bird in The Angry Birds Movie (2016).

April 5, 2019 ~ Santos releases another album that hits #1 in Billboard’s Latin and Tropical categories. That makes five in a row.

The album includes Inmortal, a ten-year reunion with his original group Aventura. There are also collaborations with Anuell AA, Wisin & Yandel, El Chaval de la Bachata, Frank Reyes, Raulin Rodriguez and Joe Veras.

Golden (Sony Music Latin, 2017) reached number 1 on the Billboard “Top Latin Albums” and “Tropical Albums” charts.

The album’s singles are Héroe Favorito (Favorite Hero), Imitadora (Imitator), Bella y Sensual (Beautiful and Sensual) and Sobredosis (Overdose) featuring Ozuna.

Formula, Vol 2

Formula, Vol 2 (Sony Music Latin, 2014) debuted at number 5 on the “Billboard 200” chart.

The album’s top singles were Propuesta Indecente (Indecent Proposal), and Odio (Hatred).

The music video for Yo También (Me Too) featuring Marc Anthony was a YouTube hit.

Formula, Vol 1 (Sony Music Latin, 2011) was the best-selling Latin album of 2012. It hit number one on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums” and “Tropical Albums” charts.

The album’s top singles were You, Promise, Mi Santa, and La Diabla.

Formula, Vol 1 was nominated for a Grammy Award.


He was the lead singer of Bachata band Aventura. The band’s name translates as adventure, but it really means an affair.

Their song Obesión (2002) was a global hit. Other hits include Un Beso, Los Infieles, El Perdedor, Por Un Segundo, Dile Al Amor and others.

Aventura was active from 1997 -to 2011. They reunited in 2016 for twenty shows at the United Palace in Washington Heights, Manhattan.
