Brooklyn Museum Juneteenth Celebration 2021
Juneteenth at the Brooklyn Museum starts with a rally with community leaders on the Museum steps. The day continues with a Freedom Ride bike tour of historic Brooklyn landmarks of the Black community.
The evening brings live music, foods by the Black Chef Movement and a sunset meditation Meditating for Black Lives.
We have a lot to celebrate this year. No doubt, we’ll be singing and dancing in the street. But more importantly, it’s good for us to gather because the work isn’t done. We have to turn this celebration into real change, and the only way forward is together.
