The FIAF Crossing the Line Festival brings really interesting French-speaking artists to New York City. It is reprogramming the colonial narrative in an inclusive manner. This is modern France. C’est bien!
The French mind is a little different from the American one (to say the least). There is a simple, but profound sensitivity to humor, irony, and visual design that is uniquely French.
