About The Shed

The Shed opened in the Bloomberg Building in 2019.

Its retractable shell creates The McCourt for large-scale performances, installations, and events. It also has a 500-seat theater, and two levels of exhibition space.

The ground floor of the Bloomberg Building is one of the nicest public spaces in New York City. It has lounge seating, wi-fi, and a bar.
