About the Theater at Madison Square Garden


The Theater at Madison Square Garden opened in 1968 as the Felt Forum. It’s had a few names over the years. It was the Paramount Theater in the early 1990s. It took its current name in the mid 1990s. Since then, it’s been the WaMU Theater (Washington Mutual), and the Hulu Theater.

Today The Theater at Madison Square Garden seats 5,600.

It has hosted some major events over the years including: Menudo, the Puerto Rican boy band in 1983, and Lucha Libre in 2019.
