Growing up in Santos, São Paulo
Tulipa Ruiz Chagas was born in Santos in São Paulo state on October 19, 1978.
Growing up, she worked in her family’s record store. She was a journalist for almost ten years when she started drawing. She illustrates children’s books, album covers and a concert posters.
