The Veterans Day Parade NYC 2022 honors American veterans in the Fifth Avenue parade. The parade features around 20,000 marchers in over 300 marching groups with 30 floats and more than 150 vehicles. It is America’s largest Veterans Day Parade.
Many Latins devote their lives to the service of our country. According to the Department of Defense, 17.2% of active-duty U.S. military are Latino.
Because of all the marching formations, Fifth Avenue during the parade is uniquely beautiful when viewed from a high floor in a store or office building along the route.

Parade Route & Time
The parade is on Fifth Avenue, New York City’s spinal column.
- Starts at 12:30pm at 26th St in Chelsea / Nomad.
- Ends at 3pm at 47th St in Midtown / Midtown East.
Grand Marshal
The parade’s Grand Marshal is Vincent W. Patton, the first African American to hold the U.S. Coast Guard’s highest enlisted position as Eighth Master Chief Petty Officer from 1998 to 2002.
