64th Winter Antiques Show (2018) is America’s premiere antiques show

The annual Winter Antiques Show is at the Park Avenue Armory in January. Proceeds benefit the East Side House Settlement.

Throckmorton Fine Art regularly exhibits Pre-Colombian artifacts and vintage Latin American Photography.

January 19 – 28, 2018

Daily: 12 – 8 pm (6 pm Sunday and Thursday)

Friday, January 18: Opening night party, 5 – 9 pm
January 25: Young Collectors Night, 7 – 9 pm
January 26: Expert Eye Evening, 5:30 – 8 pm

Throckmorton Fine Art

Of special interest this year are two Mayan works.

One is an engraved Shell Pendant with Ear Flare Covers, three inches in diameter, dating to 550-950 CE.

A second Mayan work is a hard stone Ruler/Shaman with Armadillo, 11 inches high, dating to 600-900 CE.

A third work being offered is a Teotihuacan Ceremonial Mask made of hard stone between 250-450 CE, measuring 8.75 inches.


Winter Antiques Show 2017

The Winter Antiques Show is January 20-29, 2017 with an opening night preview on January 19. January 26 is Young Collector’s Night.

Throckmorton Fine Art features pre-Columbian artifacts from Mexico including a Temple Model, Mezcala Seated Stargazer, Jalisco Ballplayer, Colima Cargador, and Teotihuacan Inlaid Ceremonial Mask.
