New Jersey Peruvians

Paterson, New Jersey is the heart of America’s Peruvian community. The largest Peruvian community outside of South America is centered around Market Street in Paterson. The community boundaries are roughly Spruce St, McBride Ave, Cianci St, Ward St, and Oliver St.

The original festival’s founder, Guillermo Callegari of Peruvian Parade Inc., passed away on January 3, 2024. He did good things for America’s Peruvian community, and we remember him for that. ¡Vaya con Dios!

New Jersey Peruvians took over the Parade in 2024.
