Aventura with Romeo Santos Plays Dominican Bachata at MetLife Stadium

Aventura, the “Kings of Bachata” or KOB, is a Dominican bachata band from The Bronx who defined modern bachata. Romeo Santos is lead singer.

Aventura with Romeo Santos brings their Inmortal Tour to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sat, Oct 9, 2021 at 8pm. From $49.50. 🇩🇴

Aventura “Inmortal”

Aventura

The band’s name translates as adventure, but it really means an affair. That’s NYC baby.

They stretched traditional bachata with R&B and pop elements. They also expanded bachata lyrics beyond their traditional heartbreak themes. Aventura more or less created the modern bachata that became popular worldwide.

Their song “Obsesión” (2002) was a global hit. Other hits include “Un Beso,” “Los Infieles,” “El Perdedor,” “Por Un Segundo,” “Dile Al Amor” and others.

Aventura was active from 1997 -to 2011.

They reunited in 2016 for twenty shows at the United Palace in Washington Heights, Manhattan.

The band reunited again in 2020 as Aventura: Inmortal.
