New York Latin Dance NYC

New York Latin Dance NYC is both Latin dance theatre and Latin dance. Music and dance are a yin and yang pair. ☯️

Latin dance theatre:

African Diaspora, ballet, contemporary, flamenco, folkloric, jazz, modern, hip-hop and tap.

By the way, ballet is a Latin dance. Broadway is jazz dance.

Latin dance (social):

bachata, bomba, champeta, dem bow, house, merengue, reggaeton, perreo, plena, salsa, swing, and tango.

The New York City Dance Guide

Again, New York’s dance world is both Latin dance theatre and Latin dance, which is social. Even though their are many flavors of Latin, we are all social.

Music and dance are two sides of the same coin. Basically, if there’s music, we dance (or at least the New York Latin Culture Magazine team will dance).
