José Antonio Rodríguez started winning first prizes at prestigious Flamenco festivals when he was a teenager in 1981 and 1982.
Today he is a master teacher, studio musician, and renowned contemporary Flamenco composer.
Rodríguez performs solo and with Classical orchestras in the music halls of the world. He composes for orchestras and dance companies.
Rodríguez appeared in the classic Carlos Saura movie Flamenco (1995).
Rodríguez’ recent album Adiós Muchachos (2016) was called the best Flamenco album of 2016 by El País, one of Spain’s national newspapers.
