Lehmann Maupin

Lehmann Maupin is an established contemporary art dealer that maintains an international presence through Chelsea, Lower East Side, and Hong Kong galleries. Rachel Lehmann & David Maupin are the founders.


Latin Artists at Lehmann Maupin

The gallery’s best known artists are Tracey Emin and photographer Juergen Teller. The gallery also represents several important Latin artists.

Roberto Cuoghi is an Italian multimedia artist.

Teresita Fernández

Teresita Fernández is a Cuban-American mixed-media artist known for her large-scale experiential works that present spectacular illusions related to natural phenomena.

OSGEMEOS

OSGEMEOS are Brazilian twins who express their shared universe through hip-hop culture.

Angel Otero

Angel Otero is a Puerto Rican artist known for his process-based paintings.

His exhibition Elegies opens at the Bronx Museum of the Arts from 11 am – 6 pm. Through April 29, 2018.

Adriana Varejão

Adriana Varejão is a Brazilian artist who explores themes of colonialism, miscegenation, and anthropology.


Latin Exhibitions at Lehmann Maupin

From a whisper to a scream is a group show of contemporary artists who stretch minimalism with social and cultural meaning. The exhibition, which includes Cuban-American artist Teresita Fernández, opens with a reception on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 6pm. It runs through September 1.

Teresita Fernández “Fire (America)” is at the Chrystie Street gallery in the Lower East Side, March 17 – May 20, 2017. There is an opening reception on Friday, March 17 from 6-8pm.
