Maluma (Juan Luis Londoño Arias) is one of Colombia’s sexiest reggaeton and latin trap singers.

He is very handsome and women seem to be crazy about him, but Maluma is one of the Medellín-based artists who is redefining reggaeton with a softer, more romantic, more melodic sound. Reggaeton is growing up. Nobody is 21 forever.

May 17, 2019 ~ Maluma released his fourth album on Sony Latin. Ricky Martin, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Madonna and others feature as guests.

Numerologists say that when you see the numbers 11:11, something is about to happen or the saints are present.

The album’s singles are HP, 11pm, Instinto Natural, and No Se Me Quita.

Of them all, 11pm did the best. It reached No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. Soltera featuring Madonna hit No. 7 on Billboard’s Latin Digital Song Sales chart.

Maluma’s F.A.M.E. nominated for Latin Grammy

September 20, 2018 ~ Maluma’s album F.A.M.E. was nominated for a 2018 Latin Grammy for “Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album.”

The 19th Latin Grammys are on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

May 18, 2018 ~ Maluma released his third studio album F.A.M.E. on Sony Latin. It’s his first bilingual album with songs in both Spanish and English.

Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy

Pretty Boy, Dirty Boy (2015, Sony Music Latin) produced several hits. Borró Cassette was a #1 hit in Colombia and on the US Tropical chart. It went Triple Platinum on the Spanish language charts. The video is shot in the Meatpacking District.

La Temperatura

La Temperatura featuring Eli Palacios from PB.DB The Mixtape (2015, Sony Music Colombia) reached #8 on the US Latin Pop chart and went Platinum on the Spanish language charts.

La Voz Kids

In 2014, Maluma was a coach and judge on La Voz Kids Colombia. He played the same role in 2017 on La Voz Kids México.

Magia

Maluma’s first album was Magia (Sony Music Colombia, 2012). The video for Obsesión is a YouTube hit.

Fandulera

Maluma’s career started when Farandulera became a radio hit in Medellín in 2010. A Farandulera is a party girl.
