History
The Theater opened in 1968 as the Felt Forum. It has hosted some influential events over the years including: Menudo, the Puerto Rican boy band in 1983, and Lucha Libre in 2019.
It’s had a few names over the years. It was the Paramount Theater in the early 1990s. It took its current name in the mid 1990s. Since then, it’s been the WaMU Theater (Washington Mutual), and the Hulu Theater.
Today, the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden seats 5,600. Infosys is an Indian multinational IT company.
