Zara

Zara is an on-trend Spanish ready-to-wear retailer known for moving fashion from runway to rack in a matter of weeks.

Zara is the lead brand of the world’s largest fashion retailer, Inditex of Galicia, Spain. Owner Amancio Ortega is the wealthiest European and one of the handful of richest people in the world. It’s interesting that this is Galicia which was once considered a backwards region. Many Spanish-Argentines are Galicians.

Zara’s just-in-time business model is highly disruptive in the fashion industry. Zara is the reason some brands are making clothes available right after their runway shows.

Zara Men’s has a European cut which is well fitted if you are thin.
