Zara

Fashion New York City, Financial District, Midtown (neighborhood), SoHo, Spanish New York City, Union Square, Upper East Side, Upper West Side / September 30, 2019 by Editors

Zara is an on-trend Spanish ready-to-wear retailer known for moving fashion from runway to rack in a matter of weeks.

Zara is the lead brand of the world’s largest fashion retailer, Inditex of Galicia, Spain. Owner Amancio Ortega is the wealthiest European and one of the handful of richest people in the world. It’s interesting that this is Galicia which was once considered a backwards region. Many Spanish-Argentines are Galicians.

Zara’s just-in-time business model is highly disruptive in the fashion industry. Zara is the reason some brands are making clothes available right after their runway shows.

Zara Men’s has a European cut which is well fitted if you are thin.

Zara Fall Winter 2017

Zara’s Fall Winter 2017 Woman Campaign was shot by Steven Meisel, styled by Karl Templer, and art directed by Fabien Baron. The models are Vittoria Cerrito, Faretta, Lex Herl, Aira Ferreira, and Grace Elizabeth.

Zara Spring Summer 2017

The Zara Woman Campaign video by Fabien Baron features models Lexi Boling (American), Vitoria Cerreti (Italian), Kiki Willems (Dutch), Leila Goldkhul (American), Luisiana Gonzales (Dominican), Yoon Bae (Korean) and Nora Attal (British).
