Open House New York 2022 Opens Doors All Over Town

Open House New York 2022 (OHNY) is a weekend of open doors all over New York City. It offers an insider’s view to many buildings and infrastructure that are normally closed to the public.

The program was founded in 2001 to reengage New Yorkers with our city after the shut down for 9/11. After the Covid-19 shutdown, OHNY has a new purpose.

Civic engagement hasn’t gotten much attention lately, but is essential to the healthy functioning of our city and American society. Thank you for making New York City available to all New Yorkers.

20th Open House New York 2022 (OHNY)

The 20th Open House New York 2022 is a weekend of open houses and tours at almost 300 buildings and infrastructure all over New York City, Friday-Sunday, October 21-23, 2022. Free.

It opens doors at almost 300 sites, in all five boroughs, to around 85,000 visitors. Many events are first-come, first-serve. There is a lottery on the website for open houses with limited space which closes Saturday, October 15, 2022.
