What Is L’Alliance New York’s Bastille Day Fête?
L’Alliance New York, formerly known as the French Institute Alliance Française, is the city’s leading nonprofit center for French language and culture. Each July, the organization shuts down a stretch of Madison Avenue and fills it with music, food, and French flair to mark Bastille Day, France’s national holiday.
Last year’s fête drew a record 50,000 attendees, making it one of the largest cultural street festivals in New York City.
