Adriana Salgado and Orlando Reyes Dance Argentine Tango with the Guillermina Quiroga Company at Roulette

Adriana Salgado and Orlando Reyes are award-winning Argentine Tango teachers and performers, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. They are 2021 US Tango Salon champions and 2019 US Stage Tango champions who compete in the Buenos Aires Tango Festival & World Cup.

Colombia has some of the strongest Tango culture outside of Argentina and Uruguay. Tango icon Carlos Gardel died in a plane crash on his way there from New York City. Tango is cultural in Medellín. Some people there collect tangos like baseball cards. People say “vos” instead of “tú,” just like the Argentines.

We’ve known Adriana and Orlando since 2009. They are both outstanding dancers and teachers. In Orlando’s arms, Adriana flys.
