Javits Center is Manhattan’s Convention Center

Javits Center, Manhattan’s main convention center, is one of the busiest convention centers in the United States. It is now part of Hudson Yards.

The center is named for Jacob Javits, U.S. Senator (1957-81), New York Attorney General (1955-57), and U.S. Congressman (1947-54). He was a liberal Republican who helped create the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

We wish today’s politicians would govern from the middle and work across the aisle like Javits did. That’s the American Way we were raised to believe in.

Latin Culture Events

These events are usually held at Javits Center:

  • Armory Show is New York City’s big fall international contemporary art fair, and the anchor of the Armory Week cluster of contemporary art fairs.
  • IFPDA Print Fair is a fine art print art fair.
  • New York International Auto Show introduces new cars from Latin manufacturers.
