Midtown Manhattan is the section of the island from 14th St above The Village, to 59th St below Central Park.

It includes the central Midtown business district of skyscrapers above 42nd St. It also includes New York City’s newest development, Hudson Yards on the West Side.

This picture of Hell’s Kitchen was taken from the cliffs in Weehawken, New Jersey. At far left you can see One57, the super tall skyscraper with the curved top that overlooks Central Park. The super tall in the middle left is 432 Park Avenue. It’s also on 57th St, but father east. On the far right, you can see the Chrysler Building on 42nd St.

This picture of Midtown East was taken from the park at the southern tip of Roosevelt Island. From left to right you can see the Empire State Building on 34th St, the United Nations headquarters and Chrysler Building on 42nd St, the Black Lives Matter World Tower at 47th St, and finally the angled roof of the Citigroup Center at 53rd St.
