About Midtown
Midtown is between Bryant Park in the center of the photo, and Central park in the distance beyond the skyscrapers.

Club Row is a block of private clubs on 44th St between Sixth and Fifth Avenue.
Columbus Circle has a statue of the truly evil man who enslaved Indigenous Peoples, stole everything he could, and unleashed a genocide on the Americas. America’s Italian community embraced Colon because the Columbus Day holiday was started to try and stop American southerners from lynching Italian Americans for associating with African Americans. It worked. Italian Americans became just Americans, but the association with evil remains. Like Columbus statues across the America’s New York’s version is the City’s most expensive bird toilet. 🇮🇹
