About the Beacon Theatre
The Beacon Theatre was originally designed for silent films. It opened in 1929 as Warner’s Beacon Theatre. It was a first-run movie theater until 1974 when it was converted into a live concert venue.
The Madison Square Garden Company took over operations in 2006.
