Paco de Lucía (1947-2014) is widely considered to have been the greatest flamenco guitarist in history. He was one of the first to blend traditional Spanish flamenco with the classical and jazz idioms.
The world’s leading flamenco producer today is 10-time Latin Grammy-winning guitarist Javier Limón. He worked with De Lucía and even produced some of the master’s recordings.
Limón reassembled the band that toured with De Lucía for the last ten years of his career. This is Flamenco Legends by Javier Limón: The Paco de Lucía Project.

The Paco de Lucía Project Reignites the Legend
The sextet includes de Lucía’s own nephew Antonio Sanchez on guitar, Israel Suárez “Piraña” on percussion, Alain Perez on bass, Antonio Serrano on harmonica, David de Jacoba on vocals and acclaimed dancer Antonio Fernandez Montoya “Farru.”
Having the family member in the band is important because flamenco was originally a private family tradition that passed through the generations.
This show brings together the past, the present and the future of flamenco.
