The 2020 BillBoard Latin Music Awards Shine on Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny

On Monday, August 24, Billboard magazine announced its rescheduled Latin Music Awards at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida on October 21, 2020 at 8pm ET. The awards are being reimagined as a digital experience.

The 30th Latin Music Week, October 20-23, will feature conversations with Ozuna, Rosalía, Maluma, Black Eyed Peas, Carlos Vives, Los Tigres del Norte and others.

Bad Bunny, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Anuell AA and Farruko led the nominations first announced in February before COVID-19 shut everything down.

Daddy Yankee won Hot Latin Song, Airplay Song and Streaming Song. With Luis Fonsi, he won the Latin Song of the Decade award. Bad Bunny took home Artist Year, Songwriter and Top Latin Album (100PRE) and albums artist of the year, male. In a way, the two represent early and more recent reggaeton.

Romeo Santos won four awards. Luis Fonsi won three. Karol G, Wisin & Yandel and Banda MS won two awards each.
