Bushwick Film Festival 2022 Features Over 100 Independent Films from Brooklyn and the World

The Bushwick Film Festival 2022 was founded by Liberia-born, NYU Steinhardt graduate, Kweighbaye Kotee in 2007 to provide opportunities to Brooklyn filmmakers of color.

There are feature narrative and documentary films, plus many shorts.

It’s like other film festivals with actors and directors, premieres, networking and Q&As. But it also has a strong community development component with outreach and training in documentary-making and youth filmmaking.

Brooklyn is creative and Bushwick is wildly creative. The Bushwick Film Festival is an incubator for the future of filmmaking.
