The Bronx Dominican Parade is el Gran Parada Dominicana de el Bronx, a festival of Dominican culture and contributions to the prosperity of the United States, in the West Bronx, home to one of New York City’s largest Dominican communities. ¡Quisqueya!

36th Bronx Dominican Parade 2025

Like Carnival, the Parade is actually a long series of community events. To really enjoy it, get involved, and join one of the comparsas (marching groups). Dominicans are some of the warmest, friendliest people on Earth, good friends to have in New York City.

The Parade is dedicated to the Dominican Republic founding fathers: Duarte, Sanchez, and Mella.

Edward Saldaña, BlueLoft CEO and Dominican House Fest founder, is Grand Marshal. Haraca Kiko is the Parade King. Lawyer and presenter Julieta Tejada is the madrina.

Bronx Dominican Parade 2025 Queen Presentations

There are several Parade Queen Candidate presentations, starting in October, the year before the Parade. This is a serious talent competition that also teaches children about our heritage culture!

Gran Parada Dominicana de el Bronx

The Parade was founded in 1989. Its Spanish name translates as the Grand Dominican Parade of the Bronx. It’s probably a reference to Grand Concourse which was designed as the elegant avenue of The Bronx. It is produced by Founder and Executive Director Felipe Febles.
