Christie’s New York
May and November sales are now generally organized as 20th Century and 21st Century auctions. There is usually a special collection auction. Outsider art is auctioned in January.
The most valuable art is usually sold in Evening Sales. Many internationally-born artists are considered Americans by Christie’s. That’s a good thing.
