Arturo Herrera ‘Paintings’
This series marks the artist’s shift from collage, felt sculpture, and wall painting to painted canvas.
Herrera’s painting reflects the voice of a colorful soul that can be heard through images, feelings and insights that surface.
“Herrera’s painting reflects the voice of a colorful soul that can be heard through images, feelings and insights that surface.”
Though a change of medium, the work still looks like Arturo Herrera. The painting is flat, but the image inside it is not. It’s got a lot of dimension and movement.
This is Herrera’s seventh solo exhibition at Sikkema Jenkins & Co.
