Kicking and Screening Soccer Film Festival

The Kicking and Screening soccer film festival screens inspiring soccer films in NYC and around the world.

Films are an interesting way to watch the beautiful game.

The Festival launched in 2009. It has since been in Washington DC, London, Amsterdam, Liverpool, Kerala India, Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi and more.

The 13th Kicking + Screening 2022 soccer film festival is at Crossbar in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, December, 1-2, 2022.

October 2021

The Kicking + Screening soccer film festival is at Scandinavia House in Murray Hill, Manhattan, Tue-Fri, Oct 12, 14, 15; and at Upper 90 in Astoria, Queens on Wed, Oct 13. kickingandscreening.com 🇧🇷🇲🇽

The 2021 Festival is screening a couple of films with Latin interest.

  • Big-Time Soccer: The Remarkable Rise & Fall of the NASL screens at Upper 90 in Astoria, Queens on Wed, Oct 13 at 7pm. $20. Brazilian soccer legend Pelé was the league’s big star with the Cosmos in NYC. 🇧🇷
  • Rayados 75 (2019), by Fernando Kalife, is about Mexican soccer club CF Monterrey’s 75 years which led to the Club World Cup and winning the Mexican national championship in 2019. It screens at Scandinavia House in Murray Hill, Manhattan on Thu, Oct 14 at 7pm. $20. 🇲🇽
