Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center Swings Nightly

Dizzy’s Club is the jazz supper club at Jazz at Lincoln Center. It swings nightly against a backdrop of incredible Central Park city views. The curation is excellent and so is the gumbo. It’s a great place for a date or business dinner, especially on short notice. Just go and enjoy.

By the way, Dizzy Gillespie was one of the fathers of bebop modern jazz in 1940s New York City. He also brought the Latin back into jazz by inviting congero Chano Pozo to work with him in 1947-48, creating hits like “Manteca” and “Tin Tin Deo.” Thanks to Dizzy and Chano, nobody thinks twice about hearing Latin percussion in a straight-ahead jazz band.
