Mercado Global Fashion Forward Celebration

It is an annual benefit to raise funds and awareness for the work Mercado Global does to empower women entrepreneurs. The 6th annual Fashion Forward Celebration will be held during Dia de Los Muertos: Thursday November 1st at The Bowery Hotel.

Guests include actor Aaron Diaz and chef Franco Noriega, and executives from fashion brands including Valentino, Calvin Klein, Conde Nast and WWD.

Mercado Global will honor:

Karla Martinez de Salas, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Mexico & Latin America, with the 2018 Fashion Forward Visionary Award
Yael Aflalo, Founder of Reformation, with the 2018 Global Impact Award
Alida Boer, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur, with the 2018 Ambassador Award

Guests will enjoy a Latin-themed chef’s tables and cocktails, silent auction, and a guest DJ to celebrate the women artisans Mercado Global empowers.
