Bronx Park

Bronx Park is the big park in The Bronx. It was founded during NYC’s park-building frenzy in the 1880s. The Bronx River runs through it.

Today the park houses the Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Garden. The park offers playgrounds, bike paths, ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, and more. Landmarks include the Rainey Memorial Gate and the Rocking Stone.
