About Ricardo Maffei
Ricardo Maffei was born in Santiago de Chile in 1953. He studied painting with Miguel Venegas Cifuentes, the Chilean master realist painter. Maffei was also a friend and student of Chilean hyper-realist painter Claudio Bravo. Maffei’s work and career arc invite obvious comparisons with Bravo.
Maffei has long exhibited internationally. His work is in notable collections at Museo de Artes Visuales de Santiago, General Electric, Nestlé and Telefónica.
