Prospect Park

Prospect Park is the big park in Brooklyn. Its home to the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Public Library and Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It provides green space, wetlands, an indigenous forest, a band shell, a zoo, an ice rink, a carousel and athletic facilities.

The LeFrak Center at Lakeside offers ice skating, figure skating, curling and hockey in winter; and roller skating, biking, boating and water play in summer.

Walking through this tunnel is like walking into another world. You leave the city behind. There are usually families picnicking, people walking their dogs, friendly games of cricket, and of course lovers holding hands.

The park goes on and on. It’s a great place to wander around and lose yourself for a little while in nature.
