The Columbus Day Parade is actually a series of events including a scholarship program, gala, wreath laying, mass, and the parade.
Scholarships
The Columbus Day Parade Scholarship Program for first-year high school, college, or medical school students, opens in November the prior year.
Gala
The 81st Columbus Day Parade NYC 2025 Gala is a black-tie evening with music, dancing, and Italian food at Cipriani Wall Street, in Manhattan’s Financial District; on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 6pm. From $1,500. 🇮🇹
The Gala is a great way to network with New York City’s Italian American community. It’s fun too, with drinks, dinner and dancing. Some very famous artists usually provide the entertainment. The funds raised support educational scholarships.

You can also watch it on WABC-7 at 12noon. 🇮🇹

Columbus Day Parade NYC
The Parade is organized by the Columbus Citizens Foundation. The Parade has provided over $40 million in scholarships to Italian Americans in high school and college. This really benefits New York’s Italian American community, and in fact, all New Yorkers.
