Movement Without Borders

The day was conceived by Richard Colton (Twyla Tharp Dance, Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre) with Judson Memorial Church. It celebrates the New York Immigration Coalition, UnLocal and Gente Unida immigration organizations.

According to the organizers, “We ask the question what it means to engage ethically with another person’s history, and how that might transform us individually and as a society.”

Judson Memorial Church has long played important roles in culture and social justice. It’s one of the places where contemporary art and contemporary dance were created once upon a time in New York City. judson.org

Take a look at the speakers, musicians, dancers, and filmmakers who are participating. There are many heavy hitters. movementwithoutborders.com

There are many people you’d want to meet here and Judson Memorial Church is a truly historic cultural center in New York City. We hope to see you at Movement Without Borders.
