Though New York Carnival is at another time, Traditional Pre-Lenten Carnival, the world’s biggest Latin party, climaxes on Carnival Tuesday, February 17 this year.
February weather is late winter. New York City’s snowiest month is still a great time to visit. You just have to plan where you are going because it may be cold and slushy outside after storms. Wear a jacket, hat, scarf, and gloves, so you can layer. Wear boots for walking in slush.
