The show normally opens the Armory Week cluster of art fairs in New York City. Many galleries exhibit a single artist or a theme, so gallery booths are little exhibitions. The dealers have a very deep knowledge and experience. You will always see one or two works that just blow your mind.

The Gala is a social event for New York society. The people watching is great.

Mary-Anne Martin, one of New York City’s leading dealers of Mexican and Latin American art, is a regular exhibitor. She created the Latin American Art Department at Sotheby’s in the 1970s. Martin is partly responsible for raising Latin American art to the esteemed level it enjoys today. We always visit her exhibition at the ADAA Art Show.
