NYC Broadway Week Summer 2023 Offers 2-for-1 Tickets to Great Latin Broadway

NYC Broadway Week Summer 2023 is a popular 2-for-1 ticket promotion to Broadway shows. Some people plan their New York visits around NYC Broadway Week.

We recommend that you purchase upgraded tickets. Some of the general tickets don’t have the best views. It’s still a great deal!

Latin Broadway Shows

Chicago the Musical, isn’t a Latin story, but its lead characters were developed around Latin legends Chita Rivera and Liza Minelli. Famous Latin performers regularly join the longest-running Broadway show. 🇵🇷 🇮🇹 🇺🇸

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton” is the Broadway hit of our generation. Actors of color tell the story of Alexander Hamilton, the Caribbean orphan who made it in New York City, and built the American financial system after the American Revolutionary War. 🇰🇳

“Here Lies Love” is a new interactive disco dance musical by David Byrne (Talking Heads) and Fat Boy Slim. It tells the story of the rise and fall of Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines. 🇵🇭

JaJa’s African Hair Braiding by the Manhattan Theatre Club starts previews at the Friedman Theatre in the Times Square Theater District on September 12. A lot can happen on a summer day at a West African beauty salon in Harlem. The play is written by award-winning Ghanaian American playwright Jocelyn Bioh, and directed by Obie winner Whitney White. 🇬🇭 🇺🇸

The Lion King, is a Disney musical based on traditional African storytelling and styling. The young lion prince Simba loses his father to a wicked uncle and escapes with his life. He returns as a man, the true Lion King, to reclaim his throne with the help of friends.

Moulin Rouge the Musical!, winner of 10 Tony Awards including “Best Musical,” is a jukebox musical about a Parisian cabaret performer who loves a young writer, but is promised to an old Duke. Based on the 2001 Baz Luhrmann movie, it’s a great telling of this story. 🇫🇷
