Latin Theatre in New York City is on Broadway, but mostly Off-Broadway where great theater begins. Off-Off-Broadway has important community theaters. “Hamilton” by New York Puerto Rican Lin-Manuel Miranda is the Broadway hit of our generation. The Public Theater is producing great work by people of color. Repertorio Español is one of the most successful Off-Broadway theaters.

“¡VIVA! Broadway Ayer, Hoy y Mañana” (Long Live Broadway, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow) is an exhibition of Latin Broadway; at the Museum of Broadway in Midtown, Manhattan; during Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 – October 15, 2024. Included with admission. $43.
