About New York Latin Fashion

We love fashion. We put on makeup and heels to walk to the corner bodega. Even the word “Fashionista” is Latin.

Fashion seasons and “window shopping” were started in New York City. Fashion seasons encouraged consumption. Window shopping played a role in the emancipation of women. Argentine Tango helped free women from the corset.

Thanks to fashion designer Anabella Bergero for the cover image that so beautifully combines our Latin past with our Latin future. 🇮🇹🇦🇷🇲🇽🇺🇸🏳️‍🌈
