Things To Do in NYC in September 2022 include Labor Day Carnival, Brazilian Day, J’ouvert, West Indian Day Parade, Brazilian Day, Feast of San Gennaro, Hispanic Heritage Month, African American Day Parade, and the Mexican Day Parade.

September marks the transition from summer to fall rhythms as NYC’s cultural season starts anew. It’s Classical Music Month. The month starts slow until Labor Day Weekend, but gets busy in the second half.

Latin traditions include the Cuban festivals of Yemayá / Our Lady of Regla and Oshun / Caridad del Cobre. The Jewish High Holidays begin with Rosh Hashanah.

It’s early fall, so the weather is still warm. Average temperatures range from 61° to 75°F.
