March 2020 brings spring weather. In the United States, March is Women’s History Month.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Changed Everything

March 7, 2020 ~ New York Governor Cuomo declared a State of Emergency in New York State. March 13, 2020 ~ Mayor De Blasio declared a State of Emergency in New York City.

We left our listings in place, but large gatherings and events in New York City were shut down. Please respect our Governor’s and Mayor’s guidelines and stay home.

MARCH HOLIDAYS: International Women’s Day, Purim and Easter.

MARCH PARADES: On St. Patrick’s Day, the St Patrick’s Day Parade marches through Midtown.

MARCH ART: The Armory Week art fairs are in town (Spring Break, Armory Show, Scope, Volta, Independent, Art on Paper). The Macy’s Flower Show welcomes spring.

MARCH DANCE: The Flamenco Festival is at New York City Center and other venues.

MARCH MOVIES: The Rendez-Vous with French Cinema, New Directors/New Films and Colombian Film Festival NY and Queens World film festivals are in town.

MARCH SPORTS: NYCFC and the NY Red Bulls start their Major League Soccer seasons. The New York Mets start their home season.
