Latin things to do in New York in October 2019

October 2019 brings the Fall for Dance Festival, Celebrate Mexico Now Festival and the New Yorker Festival.

It’s your last chance to register to vote in the 2019 elections coming on November 5.

Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, Spain’s national day, Columbus Day, Indigenous People Day and the end of Hispanic Heritage Month are in October.

Columbus Day Weekend is the long holiday weekend.

Latin parades in October include the Panamanian Parade, Hispanic Parade, Columbus Day Parade and Bolivian Parade.

The month ends with Halloween and preparations for Day of the Dead.
