November 2019 begins with Day of the Dead and elections, then Veterans Day and art auctions, and finally ends with holiday preparations and Thanksgiving.

November is National Native American Heritage Month and Puerto Rican Heritage Month! The International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival and National Puerto Rican Artisan Fair & Book Expo are in town.

Veterans Day and Thanksgiving provide long weekends and the Veterans Day Parade and Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The TEFAF antiques fair brings Europe’s top antique dealers to New York. DOC NYC is the biggest documentary film festival in the U.S. The Django Reinhardt Festival celebrates hot jazz.

The UN commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Panamanian New Yorkers celebrate the founding of the Republic of Panama and Panamanian Independence Day.

The Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and New York City Ballet’s Nutcracker get going for the season.

Celebrate All Saints Day, the Catholic feast that honors all people who have gone to heaven.
